These sensational looking CD’s are top quality product as you would expect from us, the UK’s no.1 for CD and DVD duplication and printing.
This is a standard size 120mm recordable CD but has a true black base which masks any burn marks, allowing the disc to look like a professionally pressed CD. The surface has a black ‘real look and feel’ vinyl groove which mimicks a traditional record and the center area is inkjet printable. (Overall print area is 70mm diameter)
These discs have been manufactured to provide an excellent print finish giving a shiny finish similar to the Taiyo Yuden Watershield discs, remember no labels here, just top quality print direct to the disc surface.
The vinyl effect grooves on the top are realistic, compared to a real record, but clearly you cannot play these discs on a turntable/record player.

Well what a start to the New Year 2010. As previously posted we have had a few difficulties this week due to the heavy snowfall and icy conditions we all have been experiencing.
Just as we thought we were up together with everything, the roads finally being gritted and a long awaited oil delivery arriving we then have suffered a power failure, in on of our locations.
This has resulted in a period of the day when our phones will have either appeared permanently engaged or simply ringing with no response. We have been in the office all day, honestly 
At the time of writing 18:15 on Friday we seem to have resolved the issue having re-routed our calls via another switchboard. Please do accept our apologies if you have encountered problems.

Well the winter weather certainly has arrived making the first business week of 2010 rather challenging, to say the least.
We are located close to London Gatwick Airport which was closed for an unprecented period of time on Tuesday and Wednesday, almost 24 hours, due to the heavy snowfall.
Despite the weather we have been operating pretty much as usual, although we have struggled with delayed postal services and deliveries. The increased capacity to our CD and DVD duplication and printing capability, added in 2009 has certainly assisted in ensuring all orders are actioned without any delay. In fact we now have possibly the largest colour thermal re-transfer disc print capacity in the UK.
Please accept our sincere apologies if you have experienced delays with either your approval copy or production CD’s and DVD’s. We continue to work closely with our couriers to ensure that all despatches find their way as expediously as feasible.
We are delighted that we will shortly be revamping our website which will have a much fresher and more modern look and feel. The increase in VAT from 15% to 17.5% from the 01st January has now been implemented, meaning quotes obtained on line are bang up to date.

Well after a hectic week at our CD and DVD duplication facility I have finally managed to post the first of the articles for our duplication and replication resource.
When we think of CD’s and DVD’s we are right to believe they have been around for a while. In fact the concept of an optical disc dates back to the 1970’s when both Philips and Sony were working on optical disc projects, which Philips had rather limited commercial sucess, with the Laserdisc system.
Moving on from their respective research and development projects the two companies formed a task force, which a year after its conception produced “The Red Book”-the technical document which defines the CD-Audio format.
The various types of discs that we are now familiar with (e.g. CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW etc ) are all newer derivatives of the initial disc concept, which was principally designed to be a new audio format-something it has achieved with un-rivalled success. Dire Straits album, Brothers in Arms from 1985 was the first million selling album in this exciting new format.
In the next article I will attempt to detail some of “The Red Book” standards, and how they are relavant to clients of duplication and printing companies such as ours. Some of the content is a little bit techie but I will attempt to keep the content relevant.

We hope that you find the articles useful and informative. Despite the industry’s maturity- CD-audio was introduced in the early 1980’s so it is virtually 30 years old!! – there are still significant developments going on with those little shiny 12cm discs!

After introducing the first instant online quote generator in the cd and dvd duplication business we are pleased to announce that we will be introducing a newer version very soon.
The new system will be similar in function to our existing online quote facility, with a few added options and simplified printed material options. We have also improved the graphics and product descriptions, which will hopefully assist in your product selection.
It will also link in with our back office to enable improved processing of all queries and orders – as with our current system there is no login required meaning you won’t be bombarded with emails or telephone follow ups just because you wanted a quote!
